Nice work Good use of colors creating a dramatic visual effect

Confident work. I’ll keep examining your work, to learn

A real calming scene to look at Alan and painted beautifully.

The interpretation is really good Alan

Beautiful is the word.

A good example of ‘less is more’ , nice work.

Very good and definitely in the Turner mould! Love your interpretation of his style.

Oh a little beauty 😍

Terrific image. Turner would be impressed, I think.

Beautiful Alan- and such a great painter to learn from.

A super interpretation Alan. You make your interpretations look simple Al but I know they are not, and only achievable after many hours of studying his work and methods.

Lovely Alan. Like this very much.

Excellent work Alan , thank ne I would happily put on the wall.

No need to check for the name on this one - wonderful economy of means.

Nice work Alan - I particularly like the white sails.

Wow, I love that everything is just a hint, a subtle tone, such depth.

Learning from you how less can be more..!!

Fascinating. I love your ongoing exploration.

Thanks for your support! It’s much appreciated!

Interesting composition.

Lovely ethereal quality.

Learning from Turner - My impression of this fabulous vista, based on Turner’s watercolour painting but very much my own interpretation. Watercolour and a touch of white gouache in a Two Rivers A4 Turner Blue sketchbook. Part of a series that I’m currently working on, looking at the works of this great British painter - not to attempt to copy his style, (that’s impossible), but to learn more about his working methods!
