As usual Lew, great expressions. Am enjoying this very much.
Thanks for your comments. I've been doing my arty stuff in a corner of our conservatory...but I have to accept that summer is here to stay, it gets too hot in there. So I've set up my art stuff in my shed. Much cooler in there. I've done the final pic for my Sad Song group of pics. I'll probably put it to one side for a bit. I sometimes need a while to know what I really think about my stuff. This feeling is always more pronounced on the made-up stuff. When I copy things I get a much clearer view on how well it's gone...I can compare it with what I copied. Is this odd? I suspect not...doubt seems part and parcel of this painting skylark. So here's the group...I think it's OK...if I still think so in a month...I'll print the 6 x 4 versions and put them in my frame. This group is the replace a group I did earlier, called 'A Slew of Sleuths'...I liked it at first, and then went off the boil...I still like some of the pics in it....here's a reminder of it... As I didn't like it on my wall, I changed it for another 'temporary' grouping shown below...this includes a few larger pics scaled down to 6 x 4, and then whole lot changed to a blue monotone. This is hanging on my wall now...it's not quite right...the SAD SONG group may replace it. Unless, of course, I think of something else. None of this matters, of course...I'm not trying to flog this stuff...just trying to enjoy drawing and painting and keep myself amused.
This is an absolutely great, Lew. Really like the Sad Song grouping and the middle Sleuths.
I like it all Lew. Great characters and expressions.
