Thanks, Marjorie, for the enjoyable reply to the latest post. It made me smile from ear to ear when I read that the sea and gulls had reminded you of this painting. Thanks for letting me know about your walk. The sea is a magical place and I've just more or less completed another sea painting, of the same size, for my cousin on his fiftieth birthday (gift). It's of Trow Rock, South Shields, on a fairly blustery day, with the tide coming in and a kittiwake hugging the shore. I'll post it soon, although with some trepidation. lol
Hope to hell he likes it. I'll blame his wife. That's it, problem solved.
