I love your work Anth, such meticulous detail! It looks absolutely wonderful.
Thanks all, I really appreciate your comments. Robert, what variety of Ferrari does your friend have? I'm now employed full-time (hooray!) again so painting is back to fun/pocket money status, painted a couple of Italy's finest and would love to do an older model :) Anth.
Oh he hasn't GOT one - other than in model form, and a couple of paintings I did for him; if only he had. But he is a very keen follower of the Scuderia Ferrari, in Formula 1 - (he might be part Italian, you see; without going into embarrassing details, Italian PoWs were held on the Isle of Wight during the last war: and they were very .... friendly). He'd love one of your paintings, of just about any model, I'm sure. Snag is, he's up in Cumberland now, tending livestock of various types and driving his combine harvester and tractor - these forms of transport being the nearest he's ever got to owning a Ferrari; well, apart from the old Jaguar he had .... that would have been well worth painting, too. If only I did have friends with enough cash to own a Ferrari - but my pack of chums and colleagues run to the odd Mercedes at best; and most of them aspire no higher than a Ford or Renault.
Cumberland? Not a million miles from us then! It's highly unlikely I'll ever have Ferrari money but I'll stick to my Mustang for now...it's possibly the second most undesireable Pony, but it suits me fine :)
So near, but yet so far...hoped to finish this one off tonight, but absolutely knackered so called a halt before I made a mess of things: Getting there though, finish the headlight off and paint the indicator/fog light then we're done. Anth
C'est fini...flogged on tonight and got the last few bits and pieces done: Back onto the other Mustangs now... Anth
A fabulous piece of work, Anth.
Fabulous work, Anth. Wish my vehicle had a shine on it like this.
Wow Anth, the finished result is amazing!
Thanks you three, glad you like it :) The owner's picking it up on Sunday! Anth.
Thanks Fiona!
