Obviously someone who know what they are doing regarding getting access to the site despite having been band . I think it’s going to take a lot to shift this low life pity we can’t inject a virus into their software.
They're not especially clever - all they need to do is get a new email address - I have three myself, it's no great trick.  Then all they need to do is look us up, and fire off their emails.  While there might be a way of stopping that, it would also stop genuine inquiries - making the ability to mark work for sale redundant.  In short - just don't respond to anyone offering to pay you in NFTs; and be very suspicious of anyone who starts their inquiry "Hello Dear"; there's little POL can do to stop them, other than what has been done already, without fundamentally altering the whole ethos of the site.   A very distinguished US artist was very nearly caught out by these people a few months ago, only his naturally cautious nature and asking for advice on Facebook saving him from their clutches.
They like reaction, especially from me, and no, as Robert said, they are not clever, though they would like us to presume otherwise. It’s one person who gets help to hack from his cronies, as they do with him. He’s all over the board! Little messages! You’ve all seen them.  They hack in and sit there. It’s why the group anonymous was stopped, though they are not fully. Stopped em from going at Putin. One mistake could lead to much greater things… I say great, though I mean broader. Where I have been working recently, they had one, caught him and put him in a home for a while. Anonymous were basically started by a lot of disabled and defunct personalities, the ether giving them a hill to stand on.
Anyway, they can’t stop me from painting, as it’s a physical thing, and work can be physically delivered, which it has to in any case On another note, I invite them to stop me physically. In fact, I  would revel in it.  Mine is more for the protection of others. Can’t stand bullies! Period!!! Anyway, I’ve got plenty of art to take it out on at the moment.
Robert, it needs more than just a new email address to register under the same name. That name "Kylie Ellie" is still active on the forum. This is not a person being banned and then re-registering under the same name, this is a person NOT being banned. Until such time as the techie ban/block this person, they are free to annoy us at will.
That's the signature at the foot of the email, not the title of the email address itself, which was different from the first try so far as I remember; I seem to have double deleted the first one, so it's not available to check. However, Dawn, who should know, says that both addresses have been banned.  There are several email clients throughout the world which offer the facility to open an email account, and incidentally I have two under Hotmail/Outlook - it's not difficult.
Yes, I get that .... I have 6 email addresses. But I'm not talking about the emails .... I'm talking about the LIVE account in POL. The person operating as Kylie Ellie has a live account, with no paintings in their gallery and no information in their profile. They just roam around POL sending messages to whoever. Out of interest I decided to 'Follow' that person .... within a few days they 'Followed' me back. I've unfollowed now but I was interested in proving that they are still ACTIVE on the POL site.
There's two accounts under that name.  One Kylie%20 and the other Kylie%20Ellie  I think the %20 means a space. Various Ellies and Kylies with no profile.
Hi, thanks for sharing. Be careful not even to start a conversation on whatsapp or sms as they can access your phone and financial information if they manage to create a connection with your phone.
Scammer Kylie Ellie is still active on POL.  I received an email on 20.02.24 with a request to buy my work.  I have not been approached on Whatsapp or by sms. I, not knowing this was a scam, responded (not giving permission or any consent).  I was offered $2500 each of my work payable in NFT.  I contacted the POL Team who have informed me this is definitely a scam. The contact details for this Kylie Ellie are: Email:  [email protected] Tel:  +66 82 682 8131 WATCH OUT FOR THESE.   POL have informed me, when they realised this was a scam, they posted a message on the Forum and have blocked the person's account.  I am not sure why I have been contacted by this person if their account was blocked?  I am only a hobby artist and I gain a lot of pleasure painting and viewing the amazing work of others.  I am not sure if I should continue using the POL website (especially as their reply did not offer reassurance that the site is safe).  PLEASE be careful.
Alan as o r if the moderator can I   assure you that Dawn  and the POL team take it very seriously when someone is contacting members. The problem is that these people are very determined and will re register using another email address in the registration , they are often using the best equipped IT software etc and are very adept at dodging security system . I’m sure one they are  the team are aware they take the necessary action to remove the person unfortunately only until the reappear again. As to not using the site that's obviously a decision only you can make , but do t the  these low life people stop your enjoyment of the site , it’s another win situation for them as they don’t care what harm they do .
