What I’m saying is. That if you go down an NFT route, you can’t catch em, but you lose exclusive copyright to your work with no compensation. This ain’t that now. They are offering money so it should be reported to the police
If you say no NFT, it becomes more serious a crime if they steal your work.

Well I received another request at 13:04, so they were still active then. For what it's worth, I use a probationary period in my forum. It's not without it's merits but doesn't solve the problem on it's own. I have sections of my forum and facilities, that aren't visible to new members until a pre-determined number of posts have been made. This gives me the opportunity to monitor their involvement and form an opinion about their genuineness. The new members aren't aware of the things they can't see and I've found that most spammers don't want to waste time making polite conversation. With regards to banning, I exercise a zero-tolerance approach and ban on name, email and IP address to make it more difficult for them to just re-join. I also have my site linked to "Stop Forum Spam" (your techie's will know about this database) so that any new member registering is checked against a world-wide database of known spammers. The use of a Captcha, the spammer database and a probationary period keeps my site free from troublesome users. There are lots that can be done to prevent issues like this but if this is a one-off then it's hardly worth the effort. The forum techie's will have it all in hand I'm sure.

Everyone on here should really be scrutinised. The perpetrator will be under many names on here already.  Thing is, he’s made a bit of a boo-boo mentioning money.  I certainly have a great deal to reiterate to the police .  His aim is to cause controversy, and so weaken the site. My mistake, I lead him here accidentally. He’ll be sure to make an exodus, some of his pseudo names with him  I’ve met him, he moved round my area.  Recognised his voice. As I remember, he lost his mum many moons ago. He’s ill, but there are many like him elsewhere.  I found him for the police once. They agreed. But needed more info. Not doing their job anymore. Sign of the times I’m afraid. Sorry, from me. My mistake.  Must also say, he goes to great lengths to befriend moderators and well known members, then causes an argument. There are people like this all over. I was on radio four about him.  Small claim to fame.  Sorry again. Obviously it’s not just me he does it to . Good practice for a group of them eh.? I suspect he’s pretty much not liked by his peers, but they use him.  Because some of you have gone back at him, you are now in the same position as me. Sorry again  Sorry to Dawn and her brilliant crew

As of now, Kylie Ellie is still an active member of POL. I have looked at her/his profile, which has no content, and I have chosen to "Follow" her/him. She/he now shows in my list of people I follow which wouldn't be the case if their account had been removed.  Since the majority of members don't follow what's going on in the forum, they will be oblivious of this matter. It only needs for someone to reply to the "Request to buy" email, even if it's only to say "Go away!!", and Kylie will then have their email address .... the thin end of a potentially harmful wedge.
Why would you ban? Pointless!  Another name will replace straight away.
The person is as a feral child. Put up with em until they go too far. Then bring em down a peg. It’s only words, until the mention of real money.
What I’m trying to say is, don’t make a deal until something carries. Can you all do that?  I have met him. He’s absolutely a nobody, whereas most on here are fab artists. This is most definitely a sign of the times. Just don’t get too paranoid, I mean that in a nice way. Remember. It is only words.  Sorry for writing. I can’t see as I’m working in the dark
Today I have been contacted by Kylie Ellie supposedly to purchase painters for NFT sales.  The telephone numer provided is Thailand located. A few hours later on Facebook group I post to, I get another offer to purchase paintings on a NFT basis. My advice is to keep well clear of anyone proposing - this type of purchase. Regards Ceri
Thailand it is
Actually, I got one from Hull. Not really much different between the two, except they’ve put windmills on the paddy fields. Actually, I must write a letter to Donald Trump, saying, have you thought about anything ever? Thailand and Taiwan are completely  different to most of us, but to you it’s just another rogue hypersonic missile of an autocue.  I must stress, without being obvious, because the torture rack of life still makes people blinkered. Ahoy there! Get on with your art instead of worrying about what takes skid marks off the back of public toilets without the cleaner touching it
I have decided to cut my ear off to make the points above.  In the future they will ask different questions. I’ve decided I am guilty of psychotic policing. If there is such a thing?
And as that jagged dorsal fin retreats to the depths of the ether, the spring tide brings the cackle of laughing sea foam, if you listen close enough to the bursting of bubbles. No more watery complaints. No more cackling seagulls. No more art that serialises his mind…. It’s  vaporising  into the iCloud.  ‘Would you look at that mummy?(shades eyes), ‘that shape looks like a big toe stuck up a sphincter. ‘ No doubt, if all stays quiet, he’ll reappear as the fairy godmother again.
