Quick attempt at a Spring lamb
Oh dear! I just couldn't get on with the February challenge, and now this! I was struggling for an idea, but Robert Jones said he didn't like the idea of horses - too complicated, he said. So, why not double the challenge? I'm not a horsey person, but somehow the idea took hold, and here we are - I had a sudden burst of enthusiasm, and knocked this out in half an hour. It's not quite what I intended, but that's painting, isn't it:

Ah Penguins - this one is part of an on-going series which i have been doing over the years. In truth it wasn't done in response to this challenge but it was done as a fun workshop with a local WI ,last Wednesday so it is contemporaneous.
This made me 😄
Some brilliant work here! Challenge well conceived, and well met!
Hello, Here's my attempt at March challenge - despite trying to capture Kingfishers 'live' I had to use a photograph as source material
There are so many excellent drawings/paintings for this challenge, so many I can't comment on them all individually but they are all wonderful! This is my final piece for March but after seeing the wonderful watercolour elephant on the previous page, mine looks just rubbish!!!! It's just a quickie drawn on a scrap of paper.
I know it's a bit too cute but it was good fun drawing these two friends.. Nick O'B
I think it's great that so many are joining in the challenges, it has certainly livened up the forum!
On the subject of elephants (might draw this again - needs reducing down a bit more - too many lines):
With reduced linework:
Just finished my March challenge. It really was my cup of tea... And my dog, a lurcher called Dylan.
