Well done everybody, a great response to the challenge. As Tessa says, some crackers in there, great to see the variety of interpretation.
Done in a moment of madness on an A4 sketch pad....not a candidtate for the gallery, just for fun here...

Maybe the miserable weather is putting everyone off this challenge! Let me know if you'd like to start another one?
Looking out of the window at the rain lashing down, you may be right. But there have been quite a few attempts - it's just lack of time in my case. I suspect you'll need to let these challenges build up and make even more of a feature of them to get a really impressive number of contributions. Quality has been good, though.
Sun has just come through down here Robert! Maybe a few more spring paintings to come. There have been some great entries over the weeks - I have really enjoyed seeing them all. Ideas for how to make more of the challenges would be welcome!
Good ideas Jenny. I hope that we can come up with a way of sharing them to a specific area of the gallery in future. If everyone was happy to email them to me I could set up a gallery page and load them from here? I could only share four a day the same as everyone else though!
It's great to see poetry being used to help inspire - something I have raised often before. Anyway with my acrylic abstract experimental apron on (it does get very mucky - i use all sorts of objects including fingers) here's my effort to reflect the emerging greens and general feeling of spring as it rises to welcome the new year.
I never know whether to go by calendar month or print month! The magazines start galloping away with us though - just beginning the June issues now!
I'm still planning to enter this one; I know what I want to do, and all being well the forecast for Monday should see me out there. April hasn't even arrived, yet!
I would prefer a calendar monthly cycle - the magazines come out bizarrely early which can be quite confusing.
Some lovely efforts on here. Haven't got round to this yet - perhaps it is the seriously dreich weather with perishing cold winds we've been having in Edinburgh (woke up to snow this morning) -daffodils in our garden just starting to bud!
And it's gorgeous - how the Hell do you find the time?? I just assume you work at the speed of light.
