My vote was for LLB as well, although I thought his museum painting was too illustrative to be really good. An interesting programme to watch as I enjoy seeing others suffer the challenges of doing something out of their comfort zone, when I do the same I find I learn more than by just playing safe and doing what has been done before.

people - sorry , I wandered off the thread - I think the painting challenge is of course an entertainment , the painters were up against the clock and in their different ways did well , however I think this type of programme misses an opportunity - they could have shown more " over the shoulder " instructional content instead of titivating us with a few brush stokes here and there . If such a programme came into being I'm sure there would be plenty of artists who could contribute real and useful knowledge .
