“What’s Next?”

Soft pastel Saturday morning workshops at my studio in Wiltshire.
If you are new to soft pastels or feeling quite rusty then let me inspire you to get ‘pastelling’ again 
with confidence as I guide you through the process of painting a composition from start to finish. 
Over the six weeks we will look at all aspects of using pastels for both landscape and Still life. You 
can cherry pick from a list of titles although I recommend you attend each session if possible to 
gain maximum knowledge, practice and benefit from my guidance. You will discover how to 
simplify process in order to make a complicated subject much easier to approach. Using quick 
colour sketches will ease the difficulty of colour choices and loosen up your hand. I will show you 
dexterity tricks which will give your work exciting energy and detail. There will be plenty of mini 
demonstrations as well as individual guidance.

£50 per session including your own pastels or £60 if hiring a workshop pastel set.  Specialist pastel paper is included.
