Demonstration: Snowy reindeer

Step 1

Draw the basic shapes in pencil.

Step 2

Add legs, tail and shoulder with a coloured pencil (ensuring it can be easily erased at the end of the drawing stages before starting the shading or colouring in).

Step 3 

Form the body and head in more detail, add facial features.

Step 4

Add antlers, feet and define tail.

Step 5

The black and white drawing shows the form and texture, which is not easily seen when in colour.

Step 6

The finished drawing using coloured pencils.
