STAGE ONE:  Draw the basic shapes in pencil.

STAGE TWO: Add facial features and legs with a coloured pencil (ensuring it can be easily erased at the end of the drawing stages before starting the shading or colouring in).

STAGE THREE: Form the body and head in more detail.  Add eye, ear and feet.

STAGE FOUR: Add more detail to the feet and face.

STAGE FIVE: The black and white drawing shows the form and texture, which is not easily seen when in colour.

STAGE SIX: The finished drawing using coloured pencils.
