What is TALP Open?
Brought to you by The Artist and Leisure Painter magazines, The Artist and Leisure Painter Open Art Competition (TALP Open), in partnership with Patchings Art Centre, has been offering artists of all abilities the chance to earn recognition and prizes for their artwork for almost 30 years.
TALP Open is an amazing international opportunity for artists of all abilities to gain valuable exposure for their work and have it seen by top artist judges.
With a range of art prizes, from our fantastic sponsors, worth over £17,000 (and growing), the opportunity to see your work exhibited at Patchings Art Centre and across our online channels, the chance to be featured in the magazines and more, TALP is the perfect way to get your work seen!
Each year, we accept entries in any media* to three categories – developing artists in the Leisure Painter category, experienced and professional artists in The Artist category, and artists aged between 18 and 25 in the Young Artist category.
