Don't do that...I also struggle with acrylics, but sometimes it just works. Just keep playing with the paint.

Also struggling with acrylics. This makes me want togive up. WOnderful sectional view, great composition and so well painted.

I find the transition from watercolour to acrylic very hard...I tried to paint in the same way. But once I tried the ''oil painting'' approach, it seemed to come together more. Keep trying. You will get there in the end
