First week of a 2 week pose. A monotone painting. Normally I would use black and white but the end result can look a little cool if not cold so I mixed burnt umber with lamp black in proportions of about 8:1 and see what developed. It is certainly warmer although this photo may not look it. We will see what next week brings. A masterpiece maybe!. I will try to make Rocio less stern looking at least.
