This painting has a great atmosphere Rachel and captures the power of industrial scenes.

Impressive. The darks allow the lights to shine and it’s always a matter of judgement how dark you go. I think this works but would also work with a slightly lighter sky as the lamp lights are against the dark ground

Well- Thank you all so much again for such super comments! I do agree Martin- I think a lighter sky would have benefitted this- but I’ve learnt a lot from it- also as I’m painting with a head torch, I feel the tonal range needs to be exaggerated a bit- But thank you all for great feedback really appreciated- 🧚‍♀️
