I have enjoyed viewing your portfolio, Andrew. Like you I have always liked James Fletcher Watson's paintings and books. If you could introduce more strength into your washes, they would look like his. (If that's what you want of Course). Have you seen Chris Bendell's portfolio? I think you will like his work.

Thanks for your comments Stephen. The picture has lost a little in the scanning process as the colours are stronger in the original.

10 x 14 Watercolour I have copied a number of paintings by James Fletcher-Watson, including one of Windrush Church, because I admire his work so much. In June last year I had the opportunity to visit Windrusn and fought my way through weeds and bracken to get the same view.
