What's the fold down the middle? It doesn't help.... and the tones differ to either side of it. However - again, I don't recognize the original as J F-W painted so much. but you've chosen a good master; excellent composition.

Hi Robert Unfortunately the fold is an artifact caused during scanning. My scanner is A4 but the paintings are bigger so have to be done in two halves. I just couldn't get the halves to match with this one
