I like the colour, the light, the looseness with the contrasting touch of detail, and particularly the cast shadow. And yes, it does scream Fletcher-Watson - a great example to follow. Is this a close copy, or have you adapted it? I don't remember the painting - though of course, he painted thousands of watercolours in his long life. I suppose the real test comes when you take a subject of your own and try to use the J F-W approach - and I'd be really interested to see that.
