Succulents

A bit like buses - I hadn't seen anything from you for a while and then two come almost together! When I saw the thumbnail of this I thought it was another iPad painting - the style is reminiscent of that. I like this very much. The Khadi paper works very well as a support and the colours work so effectively on it. Keep pushing on through the 'block' Christine - perhaps some more of your lovely iPad images? Also, don't forget that the Mark Hearld book will be out at the end of the week - I bet that will get your creative juices flowing again and your productivity will suddenly go up! I have ordered it and keep checking back on Amazon to see if has been released yet!

Thank you Julie, I think I'm coming through! I am actually replicating this painting on my iPad at the moment and will post it when it's finished it will be interesting see which image is preferred. There is a really interesting article about Mark Hearld in the November issue of Country Living magazine it may help keep you going until the book is out!

Very nice Christine. I like the snail too and the plants. The paper looks interesting to use, it gives a nice texture to your painting :)

Thank you Sarah and Carole, I wasn't sure about the snail but once it was there it had to stay, that is one of the advantages of the iPad version I did later. You can try different things out to see how they work before having to commit.
