This is a lovely image Christine- it would make s great greetings card. I love the combination of the painting with the collage.

I do like this ,lovely colour and well thought out.Is the white symbol above the sea gull to do with Cannes?I think the seagull is particularly well done.

I am really enjoying mixing these two mediums, I was given a pack of 10, 5" x 7" gesso coated ply wood panels and these are an ideal support for collaging a background of cut paper from various sources before painting on once the background is smooth and dry. David the symbol you referred to wasn't intentionally linked to Cannes but I have 'googled' it and it is very similar to the Cannes Festival logo - just a happy coincidence though!
