Lovely contrast of colours Christine, did you use the striped cloth as the basis for the rest of your palette?

Another lovely work Christine. Did you paint your own papers for this, or use a mixture of found and made ones? I was wondering how you achieved the soft background? The spiky aloe is beautifully set off by the striped mat.

Thank you Satu, Dennis, Gudrun, Fiona, Shirley and Julie for your comments. Julie, in this case I used found papers for everything except the aloe vera spikes which are hand painted khadi paper. Fiona, I added the striped mat as an afterthought as I felt it needed something to lift it, it would have been much easier if I'd put it in at the beginning, instead I had to cut it to fit around the plant pot.
