Thank you Thea, Paula and Val for your kind comments. Val, you're right, I don't use my watercolours very much at all these days but am trying to get to grips with them as they will be easier to carry around with me on a long weekend art trip to Lyme Regis soon!

It's a good depiction of the photo you took, but just watch the persepective as in these scenes it is all important.. The colours are spot on.

I have been to Sintra once and stayed for a week in a B&B run by a Finnish lady. You have captured beautifully the local colours and atmosphere. I also like the figures in this painting because they make it alive. Well done!
