Like this a lot Willie, good colour palette too

Like that,Willie!!

Love the way the cathedral and castle are set against the minimal sky Willie. The sky looks transparent, which gives the buildings extra solidity……if that makes sense.

Good one Willie.

Really lovely painting Willie, the cathedral stands out so well. Also I like the more detailed houses in foreground.

Thanks Heather and David. Yes, Fiona night skies can be neutral or dramatic I chose the latter. Thanks Stephen. Carole I didn't want the foreground to be the star so I played them down a bit.

This is so well balanced Willie with just the right amount of drama outlined by the cathedral. A very challenging painting well met. Love everything about it and I’m very familiar with this beautiful view.

Really good Willie. I love the palette.

Thank you Valerie, Carole and Sarah
