Bambough Castle

Good painting of Bamburgh castle but hope you don’t mind me saying, because the sky and sea are so similar in colour, a few white horses on the waves would considerably lift your painting. Maybe a touch more yellow in the sand would also give a lot more life to it Pete. What do you think?

Many thanks for your feedback Carole. I agree about adding white horses and I did try to add some!. The problem is that we are looking side on to the sea. I may have another go at this from a different angle.
