I love your waves. I went to Woolacombe bay and Westward Ho last week and the waves there were wonderful, and lots of surfers were riding them. The surf was dancing into the wind just as you show it.

Your Seascapes your wonderful, what paper and pastels do you use?

Thank you for your comments. Gail, I use Unison pastels on Clairefontaine Pastelmat. I tend to need a lot of tooth which I find this paper has. The sandpapers are good too.

The colours are so real.

Wendy, this is so FABULOUS and so real.....I admire your technique and masterful way of painting these seascapes. And for achieving the light through the waves, and the wind blowing the surf on the top....

Lovely portfolio.I can,t choose a favourite.

Captured the waves masterfully. So much movement and feeling in this. Wonderful!

There was no end to choice of rough sea subjects this winter - this is one of them that I chose to paint.
