This works well because you have captured the attitude of the body, which is everything in telling us what is going on with that person. It is hard to do, so you have done a great job. Also, love your choice of background, colours and the very topical union jacks.

This is my first proper attempt at painting a person. Up until now i have only added an impression of a person in the distance somewhere! This is a friend of mine, who sings in a band, and he set me the challenge to paint the band. Too much, too soon i thought, so i chose to just paint him. I am pleased with the result, although i may still fiddle with it a little more. As for whether i attempt the group of 4, who knows!!!! watch this space..........
