Portland Lighthouse by Wenda Ayshford

Very nicely painted with good colours. I agree about the foreground being removed when you mount it. I think it stands better without it and will look splendid on your wall. Just one tiny niggle - is the lighthouse leaning to the right or is that just an illusion or how it has photographed?

The painting was too big to fit in my scanner so it scanned slighty crooked. It is level on the actual painting!!! Thank you for your lovely comment!

I thought that was probably what it was. Scanning and photographing are a nightmare to get right. I have similar problems.
