9.25" x 14.5" Pastel on Velour. I recently visited London Zoo to see the young Sumatran tiger cubs. I was lucky to see them during their brief spell of activity. Soon they settled down with Mum for a nap. The tigress in this painting isn't their mum though; I felt the pose of the tigress that I used tied the composition together much better than their real mother who was facing away.
