Looked at this on the gallery page and thought Edward Hopper.

Really lovely.

Love how you’ve painted this Trevor. It has a lovely freshness.

Smashing use of colour, high impact, like it a lot

Lovely rendition

Well spotted Tony, yes Hoppers painting was my inspiration for this. The Lighthouse catches the light and is positioned in much the same way as his Lighthouse paintings. Thirty years ago when i moved here, it was one of the first things i saw sailing into Belfast.

Beautiful painting Trevor, such a lovely composition and colours.

An excellent piece, very atmospheric and very well composed.

From one Trevor to another Trevor: this is a wonderful composition. You have caught the light and shadows really well, including, on the seagulls (you must have painted them really quickly before they moved!), they look really elegant.
