Lovely painting. Great sky.

Thought it had a familiar look! The sky is indeed superb - and I see your lone figure at least has a dog with him or her this time; surprising what a difference that makes to the mood of a painting. You've used very thin paint on the headland - is this sureness of touch or do you scrape back? Whatever, it's ensured the attention is riveted on that sweeping sky.

Thanks for the great comments. Robert, I do paint quite thinly but don't scrape back. I wish I could say it's sureness of touch but it's just the way I paint. Anyway I'm glad you like it.
