Lovely colours and concept, but it suggests a huge drop down to the water on her side.

It&#39;s a highly unusual painting - the composition is fine, the colour is vibrant, it has light and atmosphere ... the figure is very puzzling, though; she appears to be almost submerged in grass that is much deeper than it looks or than you&#39;d expect - and she doesn&#39;t appear to be sitting or squatting in it, but walking through it. The white flowers in the grass would have to be enormously high - i.e. hip height, or more - none of this makes it &quot;wrong&quot;, it&#39;s just hard to make sense of it. Which may be your intention, of course... <br /><br />It grabs your attention.
