This is lovely. I especially like this one as the Mersey runs near the bottom of our garden (in Manchester) Unfortunately, our fields look rather muddy at the moment but hopefully will look a little more like this soon! It's a simple image and as such very effective. I like the composition, shapes and summer feel that this work has. Louise

thanks for the encouraging words, i wasnt sure about the simplicity bordering on the boring, but when i walk around the meadow, this does capture the atmosphere when it is quiet, a bit looser than my normal style but i think that was the best approach in this case, thanks again

Just found this. I could happily walk my dogs through this meadow. Beautifully done.

I missed this first time around, and I think that's probably because I was in hospital at the time you posted it. Like it - and this sort of "simple" subject is the devil's own job to do.
