Like the delicate way you have approached this scene.

Oh yes ! Thomas - this really is effective - love the impressionistic style and colours.

I 'liked' this yesterday, but keep being drawn back to it, and a simple like just doesn't seem adequate - this is a lovely watercolour: the way the paint has merged under your control, which could so easily have turned to mud in less expert hands, has created a jewel-like effect.

Thank you so much for all your kind comments. This is my last watercolour I've done in only two glazes. One for the foliage and one for the branches, trunks and foreground. So I have a lot to do to create all the details within these glazes.

I'm a retired teacher and now I'm painting watercolours. I'm a self taught painter an prefer the negative watercolouring. That means: Often I paint the negative background around the object (without any masking) , so the object can stay brighter.
