I can see why the darkness of the arch attracted you Tim, it does draw you into the scene. I also love the tracery of branches in the lefthand tree.

This is rather nice - very bold in your execution.

Spent the day (June 25th) painting with Frome Art Society in the grounds of Ammerdown, an interfaith retreat centre near Radstock, Somerset. The last of the hot weather, for now! I was drawn to the darkness in the archway.
