The first plein air oil of 2020, 3rd Jan, and I enjoyed myself immensely, bright winter sun and no wind at all...all other days so far have been F5-7!!! The light on the tree trunks against the deep darks and distant sea, was what attracted me initially. Then I noticed the farmer planting and weeding, and the old rotavator, and put them in for interest. The huge prickly pear cacti bushes are so difficult to get their colour correct. The village is my village, Zebbug, on the ridge above.
