For me its about the origin story of medusa where a jealous god turned her into a monster for her beauty. The different take on her turning people to stone by a single look being more stunned by her beauty and the horror of what happened. To that end its a take on what we perceive. Done in greyscale to represent stone. Photos used as reference are credited in paint my photo.
