A Somerset Rhyne

Another super watercolour terry! Lovely Wesson like trees lead us to the Rhyne (never heard of them before) and the lively sky.

There's another version of that word - reans, as I remember, probably inaccurately - a bit further north; as in Whitmore Reans in Woverhampton.... But I digress... Excellent painting, with negative shapes owing nothing, I suspect, to masking fluid.

Lovely watercolour Terry!

Agree with Robert - masking fluid aarrggggh. this is so spontaneous and frsh.

Superb piece with great atmosphere..

I love this Terry, wonderful sky and trees.

Super painting, Terry. Great composition.

A Rhyne (drainage ditch) on the Levels. A quickish (about 45 minutes) sketch on 12" x 9" Goldline paper. Somehow more satisfying than a more considered painting.
