It does show, yes..... I like the red earth in this, which contrasts so well with the cooler colours.

Ooooo Terry, love it, love it, love it!!! I can look at paintings like this all day......and some more. This, is how I would love to paint......and like Alan Owen, somewhere in between and I would be very happy. Fabulous sky, beautiful loose tree's, lovely watercolour.

Trying to loosen up, inspired (I hope it shows) by Edward Wesson. Painted in about 30 minutes on Jackson's Eco Handmade medium/rough (but actually very rough) paper. Quarter sheet - 15" x 11".
