Super, fresh, loose watercolour Terry. I think sometimes we ( well certainly I ) over complicate our watercolours, painting quickly is one way of solving this. When they 'come off' as this has, the results are super. when they don't, well we have not wasted too much time!

Yep, agree with all above. Like the strong patch of blue at the top right, which balances the rest of the painting, and the simple, clean lines.

After reading the contributions to Blue's "Satisfaction " thread, this afternoon I doodled and practised a bit of colour mixing before doing this preliminary sketch in about 20 minutes. Somehow much more satisfying than most "finshed" paintings! Image 12" x 9" on Canson Montval 100 lb paper
