Lovely tranquil scene - and corresponding restful palette

Rowland Hilder, James Fletcher-Watson - these are perhaps your influences, and you couldn't have better. This is just about a perfect watercolour; it has a wonderful sense of dignity and calm. The shadows on the tower are very beautifully done, and the sky adds all the life and movement you could need. A triumph.
