Thank you so much Carole for your lovely comments I mainly use hot pressed for the botanicals and birds and animals for watercolours and coloured pencils. I was given a pad of c/p thats why used it on this picture it did give help with the textures

Thank you so much Adele for your lovely comments I think I prefer the Bison, when I saw them in California on our last visit they look so soft and cuddly , but I didn't stop to find out whether they would like a cuddle. watching them stampede shows a whole different side to them
