Thank you very much Maureen for your lovely comment... .i think i might leave this one as it is and redraw another without putting in too much shading so i can colour it but i will also make a frame and stretch the silk before starting.

Done with Chinese ink and brushes. started at a workshop on Saturday. I drew the poppies on paper first then transferred to the silk with ground ink and very fine Chinese brushes. not sure whether i will continue with painting this or make a new silk painting due to problems with crinkling on the silk, i think i will try to stretch the silk first before starting the painting.
