Sorry to hear of your poor tummy Sylvia. Mussels are lovely but dangerous, it only takes one to ruin your day. Hope that you are feeling better now to enjoy your holiday. A lovely view through the window ,and that same gorgeous red again which you used in your other painting.

Oh dear, sorry to hear this, Sylvia, but something good came out of this! Super piece - I love the gradations of hues and the merging of colors where the sky meets the distant trees.

Again in Northumbria , I had mussels for supper...one must have been off...with devastating results ;-( .. So everyone else had a trip to the Farne islands and I was stuck at home on my own. I recovered enough to stand at the sink by the kitchen window in our rented cottage and did this. I missed out the buildings...cos I can.
