This is lovely Sylvia, I like it just as it is, the texture of the lilacs and the muted splattered leaf shapes but I look forward to seeing the finished painting too.

So sorry about your gallery - I know just how it feels when it suddenly disappears in a puff of smoke! However, this is a lovely start to a new gallery - very fresh and colourful.

My Gallery has vanished into the ether. So this is number 2 of replacement gallery. Bank holiday Monday was JUST abysmal. So betwixt deluge's I cut some lilac stems. This is a detail from a so far unfinished painting.
