A subject I have wanted to sketch for some time (years). I used to spend summer holidays with an aunt who lived in Mostyn. Your painting is a real inspiration - your atmosphere is superb - I must head north again before too long. Thanks very much for sharing this one!

I did this a wee while ago. Usually the sea is not so far as this but this was a lovely blowy day. This is a great beach to walk on , it is near Talacre just down the road from Prestatyn . Lovely conservation walk . Sadly also an oil refinery at the back.
