this horse has real character, and Thelma is such a great name. super look in her eye and i like that neutral greyish colour for background keeps the pallette more limited and makes for a more successful image, in my humble opinion.

I painted this picture for my mum a couple of years ago when I first started to paint. It is painted in acrylic on a deep edge canvas board(30 x 24 Inches) We re-homed Thelma from the Ada Cole she is a gentle giant with a short stubby neck and a small soft mouth. The picture is not best quality. Thanks for looking.
