This large (for me) oil painting was a commission from a wonderful friend, and it took me some time to complete. I had a major bout of artist's block/self doubt half way through which made me think I'd never be able to finish it, but I persevered and eventually it was done! It safely flew all the way to California within a week of sending, and luckily, my friend was thrilled with it!

I am a mainly self taught artist based in Bristol, UK. I work in oils, acrylics and watercolour, and I also love printmaking! I work in very thin layers and work full-time, so it often takes me months to complete a painting!!
