Sunrise in the snow SW France by Susie Home

This is a lovely painting, carefully drawn with beauriful colours. I feel the object next to the tree detracts from the composition. It looks like part of the tree. I would paint it out.

Hi there , thanks for the comment - you may have a point - I will take another look at it . It's the wood pile or was as my husband has now chopped it all up for the store his afternoon. One sometimes needs to remember to step away and look again .

i like this painting Susie. I have just posted my first paintings on the Gallery and have also done a snow scene in pastel with a warm coloured sky. Would welcome your comment. Jean Lacey
