You have some lovely tonal contrasts here, Susie, but not sure about your background.

Dear Ruth, Thank you for your comments. I struggled so long and hard with this first landscape. I have over painted again and again and made a hundred mistakes. I decided I would keep it on my computer but it wasn't fit for anything else. Yes the background was my biggest mistake. I am hoping to find more time to work with my paintings but I am not put off by this first battle. Thanks again Susie
